Message I got curious about the existance of this mysterious "18G" kit one day and started poking around - I have yet to see Mitsubishi refer to any of their setups at 18G - My own personal opinion is because a majority of the TD05 kits made for cars (and shipped w/ stock dsms) are "small 16G" wheels, and the next up in the 20G found in TD06 systems, people discovered the in-between size of the "Big 16G" and dubbed it 18G, since it falls in between.

Small 16G compressor wheel: 1.83 inducer, 2.365 exducer (60 trim, by my calcs)
Big 16G compressor wheel: 1.892 inducer, 2.68 exducer (50 trim, by my calcs)

20G compressor wheel: 2.07 inducer, 2.68 exducer (60 trim, by my calcs)

As you can see the normal 16g is coincidentally *extremely* close to a 'T28' compressor wheel found in 650's and true t28's.
